BARRICHELLO IN TRIBUTE TO HOFFMANN
Rubens Barrichello is driving with a helmet design in tribute to local Sao Paulo driver Ingo Hoffmann. Hoffmann drove selected races for the Fittipaldi team in 1976/77 but has had more success as a Brazilian Stock Car driver, taking the title twelve times.

FIA AND FOTA REACH COST CUTTING AGREEMENT
FIA President Max Mosley and FOTA bosses John Howett and Luca di Montezemolo have reached an agreement that will see dramatic cost reductions in F1 start from next year. A joint statement read "Today's meeting in Geneva has produced significant cost savings for 2009 and 2010."
