As predicted, Prodrive have submitted an entry for the 2008 Formula One World Championship. Prodrive is run by former BAR and Benetton F1 boss David Richards and the company has had a lot of success in motorsport, notably rallying and sportscars.

PAUL DANA 1975 - 2006
IRL IndyCar driver Paul Dana has died of injuries sustained in a practice accident involving Ed Carpenter. Dana was about to make his race debut for the Rahal Letterman team in todays Toyota Indy 300 at Homestead. He had progressed through the ranks of the Infiniti Pro Series and made his IRL debut with the Ethanol Hemelgarn Racing team last year.

MONZA NOISE AGREEMENT REACHED
An agreement has been reached between the mayor of Monza and the towns residents that will allow motorsport to take place at the circuit. This years Italian GP was at risk after residents complained to the courts about the circuits noise levels.
