MANUFACTURERS AND FIA REACH DEAL
The FIA and the car manufacturers have reached a deal that will govern F1 until 2012. Burkhard Goeschel, chairman of the GPMA, and FIA president Max Mosley signed an agreement that prevents the much threatened breakaway series taking place. The present Concorde agreement will be replaced at the end of next year.
