ANDRETTI JNR TO JOIN AGR
Marco Andretti, son of Michael and grandson of F1 legend Mario, will replace reigning IndyCar champion Dan Wheldon at family owned Andretti Green Racing in the IRL. Marco is a proven race winner in Infiniti Pro Series.

KEITH DUCKWORTH, CO-FOUNDER OF COSWORTH, HAS DIED
Keith Duckworth, who founded Cosworth with Mike Costin in 1958, has died aged 72. Their V8 DFV engine won on its debut with Jim Clark and Lotus at the 1967 Dutch Grand Prix and the engines took 154 GP victories. Costin and Duckworth sold Cosworth in 1980.

Toyota F1 Chief-Designer Gustav Brunner has left the team as his job is now surplus to requirements. Brunner joined the team from Minardi in 2001.

MINARDI LEAVES TORO ROSSO
Gian Carlo Minardi has left Toro Rosso after failing to agree on a role within the team for the former team owner. This means that it is the first time in over twenty years that Minardi has not been involved in Formula One.

Seventeen-year old Marco Holzer has won a test drive with the BMW Sauber F1 team after being declared winner of the Formula BMW finals after original winner Nicolas Huelkenberg was penalised for a safety car infringement.

TOYOTA WITHDRAW FROM IRL
Toyota have confirmed that they are withdrawing from the IRL with immediate effect. Honda will now be the only engine supplier in the IRL.

Electronics giant Intel have been introduced as title sponsors for the BMW Sauber team. The deal goes further than F1, with Intel supporting BMW in their IT infrastructure and for their mobile technology being used in their road cars.
