The popular Mount Stuart classic car event has been cancelled for 2005 due to problems with transport links that could not be resolved. Organised by Former F1 driver Johnny Bute at his Scottish home on the Isle of Bute, the 2002 and 2003 events drew thousands of fans plus stars from the world of motor racing.

MIDLAND TO LAUNCH IN RUSSIA
The new Midland Formula One team will launch their Jordan Toyota EJ15 in Red Square, Moscow, next month. Midland hope that Russian President Putin may attend. Renault have previously demonstrated an F1 car in Moscow in 2003.

Nick Heidfeld and Antonio Pizzonia went head-to-head in a driver shoot-out yesterday to decide who will take the second seat at Williams. Heidfeld won the contest, finishing 0.3 second ahead of his rival. Williams will announce their driver line-up next Monday.

JORDAN AND MIDLAND GROUP SIGN CONTRACT
Jordan Grand Prix and the Midland Group have signed a contract concerning the takeover of the F1 team. Under contract terms the team will compete in 2005 as Jordan Grand Prix and will race Jordan Toyota EJ15's. The Midland Group will announce further details shortly.

MCLAREN INVESTIGATE RAIKKONEN ALLEGATIONS
Reports in a British Sunday tabloid newspaper that Kimi Raikkonen was thrown out of a London nightclub for alleged bad behaviour are being investigated by McLaren. McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh has admitted to speaking to Raikkonen about the reported incident.

FIA Formula One Medical Delegate Professor Sid Watkins is to step down after 26 years in the role. He has been appointed President of the FIA Institute For Motor Sport Safety. Gary Hartstein MD, who has assisted Professor Watkins since 1997, has been appointed as his replacement.
