| PORSCHE TO RETURN TO LE MANS IN 2014
Porsche has announced that it will return to Le Mans with a works team in 2014. The manufacturer last participated as a works team in 1998, winning the race.

| F1 MANUFACTURERS AGREE TO V6 TURBO ENGINES
F1 teams will race with 1.6 litre V6 turbocharged engines from 2014 onwards. The teams agreed to the change at Formula 1 Commission meeting today. Turbocharged engines were last raced in the 1980's.

FERRARI EXTENDS PHILIP MORRIS DEAL UNTIL 2015
Ferrari have extended their partnership with Philip Morris International (Marlboro) until the end of the 2015 season. There was controversy last year when the team were forced to remove the 'barcode' branding after complaints that it was, in effect, subliminal advertising for the brand.

Renault Sporting Director Steve Nielsen is to leave the team due to internal restructuring. Nielsen resigned during the course of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend after discovering that John Wickham was conducting a study into the teams efficiency. Wickham was previously the now defunct A1GP's technical and operations manager.

Zayed R. Alzayani,the head of the Bahrain International Circuit, has welcomed the decision of the FIA World Motor Sport Council to reintroduce the Bahrain Grand Prix to the 2011 calendar. It has been suggested that the race will take place on the 30th October which would mean that the inaugural Indian GP is likely to be rescheduled.
