TEAM LOTUS ANNOUNCES CATERHAM DEAL Tony Fernandes and Team Lotus have confirmed that they have bought Surrey-based Caterham Cars in a deal that Fernandes calls 'fate.' ECCLESTONE TO SELL QPR STAKE? It is reported that Bernie Ecclestone is willing to sell his stake in QPR football club for £100m. Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore bought the club in 2007 for £14m but selling the stake would have to have the agreement of the former Renault Team Principal. Click for Images

ON THIS DAY: TRAGEDY IN SPAIN On this day in 1975 the Spanish Grand Prix ended in tragedy. The Embassy Hill of Rolf Stommelen suffered a rear wing failure that pitched him over the barriers, killing five spectators. The drivers had threatened to strike earlier in the weekend due to the poor condition on the safety barriers. Click for Images

| SUN TO SET ON TURKISH GRAND PRIX? This year's Turkish Grand Prix is set to be last for the foreseeable future after Murat Yalcintas, the head of Turkey's Chamber of Commerce, tweeted that the race-hosting fee would increase from $13 million (USD) in 2011 to $26 million for 2012. Istanbul has struggled to attract race fans since the first Grand Prix was held there in 2005. Click for Images
