BMW SELLS TEAM BACK TO SAUBER
BMW has agreed the sale of their F1 team back to former team owner Peter Sauber. The sale is conditional upon the team being granted the vacant entry slot for the 2010 Formula 1 World Championship.

Mercedes-Benz has bought a controlling 75.1% stake in the Brawn GP team. From next season the team will be renamed Mercedes GP and speculation names Nico Rosberg, and possibly Nick Heidfeld, as possible drivers for the team.

TOM WHEATCROFT 1922-2009
Donington Park owner Tom Wheatcroft has died at the age of 87. Wheatcroft brought racing back to the derelict circuit in the 1970s and achieved his aim of the circuit hosting a World Championship Grand Prix in 1993.
