MANUFACTURERS AND FIA REACH DEAL The FIA and the car manufacturers have reached a deal that will govern F1 until 2012. Burkhard Goeschel, chairman of the GPMA, and FIA president Max Mosley signed an agreement that prevents the much threatened breakaway series taking place.
